Who is it for?
Health and Social Care NVQ Level 4 is designed to reflect the work of candidates who undertake Health and Social Care activities at Level 4 working with service users and/or carers. The aim of the Level 4 qualification is to recognize the skills and competences of candidates in the workplace - specifically, the management and delivery of physical, emotional or enabling care to clients and service users. Successful Level 4 candidates will both manage and deliver care in support of others, and will be accountable in the area of practice. At this level, candidates will be expected to work without direct supervision in such environments as a client's own home. Candidates will have autonomy, and will be required to make decisions within boundaries and limits agreed with their team.
